2013 Jump Jam - Rimu Team 2nd place

Well done Rimu Team a well earned 2nd place. You worked hard and a big thanks to Whaea Karyn. Great to see Laura M.C for this event - you did really well.

Readers Theatre

This week has been very busy with specialised programmes, the production and readers theatre. Well done Sam, Zelda and Cohl you were awesome in the production - we are really proud of you.

Over the last few days the students have presented the first reading of their plays. The students have been focussing on developing their fluency and using punctuation to emphasis expression. Great first reading guys.

Well done all you amazing triathalon entrants, you did an amazing job. A great way to finish the term.

The Amazing Race

Last Friday 12th April Rimu Team went to the Hamilton Lake to participate in the 'Amazing Race'.
It was an excellent day and we had to demonstrate many virtues such as participation, cooperation and encouragement. We also had to use problem solving and critical thinking to work together successfully.

Rimu Teams Zoo Visit

Last week Rimu Team visited the Hamilton Zoo to explore the types of enrichment available for the species there. We had an awesome day and learned a lot about why enrichment is important. We came up with some great ideas for next term to help us construct our enrichment toy.
